Ginger Lips began with the sweet taste of ginger cookies, music and wine in Toronto during the winter of 2018.
The group is Nate Mills (lead singer/songwriter for Run With the Kittens) and singer/songwriter Angie Hilts (Rucksack Willies) who have been fixtures on the Toronto music landscape for many years and both prolific songwriters in their own right.

The two met through the bustling Cameron House music scene years ago but only recently started working together. With the intention to write one song, the collaboration quickly led to the beginnings of the songwriting duo and their full length album ‘Ginger Lips’ .

Combining their distinct creative powers they offer up dreamy soundscapes, lyrics of love, pain and loss set against poppy/indie folk beats and rhythms.
Their self-titled debut album was independently released October 2019 and is available on all on-line streaming platforms.
